About the Artist:
Pat Herrmann
Born in the New York City area, Pat Herrmann discovered her passion for art at an early age. Her artistic journey began at just five years old with a hand-drawn cartoon of Donald Duck, sparking a lifelong love for creativity and self-expression. Though largely self-taught, Pat developed a distinctive style early on, influenced by the detailed and imaginative work of Disney imagineers—an inspiration that continues to shape her projects today.
Over the years, Pat has painted more than 300 murals across Staten Island, New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, and now Florida. Her work brings color, depth, and story to a wide range of spaces, from community landmarks to local businesses. A notable example can be found at Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant, where she designed both the indoor and outdoor dining areas to reflect the charm of a small Sicilian town. Guests are transported to coastal Italy, strolling down winding roads as they enjoy their meals.
Pat sees her artistic talent as a divine gift—one she shares wholeheartedly with her family, friends, and the communities she serves. Her hope is that the passion behind each brushstroke inspires others and continues to be passed down for generations to come.
