The recent hurricanes have impacted our Mermaid Tail Trail, leaving some of our beloved mermaids temporarily displaced. Unfortunately, a few of our shimmering friends are currently unavailable for viewing. However, our team is working diligently to restore and reinstall the displaced mermaids. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please check back with us for updates on when these magnificent mermaids will return to their posts along the trail.

Nova

Nova is from a water planet in a faraway galaxy, surrounded by marine constellations and brightly glowing jellyfish. On the back on the rock is a space portal with dolphins; using this portal, Nova can travel to Weeki Wachee and back to her planet at will.

About the Artist:

Robin Stewart

Robin has been creating some form of art since his earliest childhood memories. “It wasn’t a career choice; it was just always something that was a part of me.” He was drawn to airbrushing after years of painting and drawing, when his father gave him his first airbrush. Through the years he has had the privilege of working on motorcycles, monster trucks, carnival rides and murals. His career on Long Island also included a custom T-shirt business and being a tattoo artist. Robin has a degree from SUNY Farmingdale College in Advertising Art and Design. He now calls Central Florida home and resides with his wife, 2 dogs, and 9 ducks.
