The recent hurricanes have impacted our Mermaid Tail Trail, leaving some of our beloved mermaids temporarily displaced. Unfortunately, a few of our shimmering friends are currently unavailable for viewing. However, our team is working diligently to restore and reinstall the displaced mermaids. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please check back with us for updates on when these magnificent mermaids will return to their posts along the trail.

Patience

Mermaid Patience enjoys her time soaking in the Florida sunshine. She loves wearing her one-of-a-kind ocean jewelry and will never be caught underwater or on shore without it! As she sits on her rock taking a break from life under the sea, she thinks about all of the wonderful things she loves about Florida – the breathtaking scenery, the sunsets, the fish, the animals, the attractions and so much more. She dreams of the day she will be able to walk on land and take a stroll through a one-of-a-kind Florida town that she’s heard oh so much about – a town called Brooksville! Until then, she will relax on a rock and enjoy the warm breeze, as she patiently waits for her day on land to arrive.

About the Artist:

Kaylee La Placa

Kaylee Rose La Placa is a 28-year-old professional artist born and raised in Brooksville, Florida.
