The Kraken

The statue depicts a Kraken’s tentacles rising up from a dark sea, as if being summed to do the bidding of the mermaid herself! Her loving features, soft appearance and shimmering tail provide a sense of peacefulness for those crossing her path, unaware of the beast that she is about to release from the depths below.

Brian Morris

Brian Morris was born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky. As a US Air Force retiree, construction project manager, and full-time artist, a life-long passion for creativity has helped guide his life’s journey while traveling the globe. Brian’s work has grown over his lifetime from years spent in the tattoo industry, producing custom pencil portraits and paintings, designing digital company logos and t-shirt designs, as well as large-scale art displays.

He has discovered a passion in street painting and sidewalk chalk art and continues to grow as a featured artist in the field. Brian currently resides and works out of his home studio in Lutz, Florida, enjoying what life has to offer with his wife, Jennifer, and two teenage daughters. His plans drive him to keep creating until the right full-time artistic path opens; until then he will keep chasing his dream, sharing his passion, and embracing the adventure.
