The recent hurricanes have impacted our Mermaid Tail Trail, leaving some of our beloved mermaids temporarily displaced. Unfortunately, a few of our shimmering friends are currently unavailable for viewing. However, our team is working diligently to restore and reinstall the displaced mermaids. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please check back with us for updates on when these magnificent mermaids will return to their posts along the trail.

About the Artist:

Joan Casadiego

Pronounced “Johan,” Joan was born in Venezuela, and has been in the United States for over 22 years. Ever since he was a kid, he loved ART in general. He looks for new ways to communicate with the viewers, through different styles or elements, trying not to limit himself to only one medium to express his thoughts. He has used photography, sculpture, drawing, graphic design, and painting as tools to create meaningful compositions.

His mind is always working and associating shapes on everything he sees, which helps him become more sensitive to the richness of lights and shadows around me. He has been blessed to have received awards in painting and graphic design as well as in photography, and recognitions on magazines. He thanks God for all his skills and accomplishments.”
