“Destination Mermaids – The Mermaid Tale Trail!”
The highly anticipated Phase 2 of The Mermaid Tale Trail is here at last! Now is the time to put your business on The Mermaid Tale Trail.
Put Your Business on The Mermaid Tale Trail in 2024!
Florida’s Adventure Coast Visitors Bureau, in conjunction with Brooksville Main Street and the Hernando County Fine Arts Council are pleased to announce that sponsorships for The Mermaid Tale Trail are now available. Sponsorship is simple and includes everything you need to join The Mermaid Tale Trail and our digital passport program!
Simply complete the sponsorship agreement and return to Michelle Rose via email at mrose@floridasadventurecoast.com or via regular mail at Michelle Rose, Florida’s Adventure Coast Visitors Bureau, 205 E. Ft. Dade Ave., Brooksville, FL 34601. We require a 50% deposit to secure your order, with the balance payable in November, prior to installation, or via installments.
Upon receipt of your contract and deposit, you will be placed in the queue for the Portfolio of Art, which contains all the juried mermaid designs from which you will select. With over 83 artist submissions, the artwork is stunning and making your choice may be the hardest part of all!
A member of the Visitors Bureau team will visit your location to review the exact placement and landscaping requirements prior to installation. We will then make arrangements for the cement pad installation and have your custom Tale Trail plaque printed.
Sponsorship is $5,500 per statue and includes your statue, the artist’s design and painting of your statue, a cement pad for mounting and a plaque memorializing your investment and sponsorship.
The grand unveiling is scheduled for Saturday, November 23rd, 2024. Both sponsors and artists will be invited to the unveiling ceremony; be certain to make your calendar now. The following week we will deliver your mermaid to her permanent location and add her to The Mermaid Tale Trail Digital Passport and maps. Typically, we have a second unveiling once the mermaid is in place, again we invite sponsors and artists to be a part of the unveiling and video shoot.
Sponsors and artists alike will enjoy a tremendous amount of publicity from this program both during the excitement of the unveiling and ongoing as the passport program continues to grow. Winner of a Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council Award, the Mermaid Tale Trail is a one-of-a-kind public art trail. Put your business on The Mermaid Tale Trail today.
